Pedro Olivier is the Head of Rights Clearance and Music Synchronization at ARTIS, where he oversees the clearance of third-party rights and the strategic management of matters related to music exploitation in audiovisual projects. His practice combines technical expertise, market insight, and a deep understanding of the dynamics that connect music, archives, image rights, and intellectual property.

Pedro joined ARTIS in 2022, and his expertise has been further shaped by complementary experiences throughout the cultural and music industries. In Recife, he founded ALGAZARRA, an event production company created with the purpose of strengthening the local cultural scene. As both a musician and a professional actively engaged in the creative economy, he developed a practical understanding of content distribution, rights management, and business opportunities within the entertainment sector.

He also worked with the Copyright Department at Ultrassom Music Ideas, focusing on the management of copyrights and neighboring rights for audiovisual and music projects, including productions such as Brother of Jorel, Só Se For Por Amor (Only for Love), and Wake Up Carlo.

Today, Pedro plays a leadership role in structuring and managing ARTIS’s clearance and synchronization operations, contributing to more consistent licensing workflows, risk mitigation strategies, and the legal viability of creative projects. His work is distinguished by his ability to combine strategic vision, technical knowledge, and a nuanced understanding of the mechanisms that drive the music business.
